Turning from Centralism
It's Monday, the 1st of February and, a brand new month.
We need deliverance globally. We need deliverance locally
from global corruption. I talk about monopolies and big business and big banks,
the IMF and all these situations is global sex trafficking. The few people at
the top, the 1% of the 1%. As Christians, we are our camp is not a racial camp.
We believe in justice for the whole community. We believe in loving our
neighbor as Jesus taught us.
In the parable of the Good Samaritan, no ethnicity wasn't
mentioned, no religious background was mentioned, but just the fact that the
person in need, who was beaten up on the road to Jericho was a neighbor and was
helped by a Samaritan. And the Samaritan revealed his knowledge of God. He was
not a Jew. He was not part of the temple worship in Jerusalem, but from his
heart, he revealed the knowledge of God. And that is the knowledge of the cross
of Christ. He was not vast in all the doctrine and the theology of our faith,
but he demonstrated what Christ demonstrated on the cross when he laid down his
life for others, for us, gave himself to rescue us from our road to Jericho our
sin and death.
So that's what we're part of. We, we believe in building
communities. We believe in justice (local justice) and we're looking at what we
can do to restore communities like the book of Isaiah says that we are
repairers of the breech Rebuilders of cities to dwell in.
So salvation in the scriptures is spiritual. It's in the
heart. But when we are saved in the heart, it means we treat our neighbor
differently, and this is the whole meaning of it. So we don't have
exploitation. We don't have this sort of economic violence that we see today in
the world, because we have a neighbor. When you look at the 10 commandments,
they're all about neighbors.
You know, it's talking about not lying, adultery, not
stealing, it's love loving your neighbor as yourself. The 10 commandments were
given to Israel in the context of their coming out of Egypt, under Pharaoh who
had no concern for neighbor whatsoever. And we in our new heart; our heart is
to be turned to one another to our neighbor to those around us, just like the
good Samaritan, no matter the ethnic background or religious background. And
this is how we restore our nations.
We restore as Isaiah said. We're turning from this
centralism of just trying to profit ourselves, our ethnic group, our economic
social group and returning to one another to care for one another, to look for
those that are lost for those that are beaten down, those that are despised,
those that are marginalized and bring care, love, and justice to others. This
is what our nations, our world needs.
And we pray that in February, we're looking to God for big
miracles to turn our lives, our communities, our nations, and our world, back
to this. To have a red sea; to deliver our nations from Pharaoh. This is why
Jesus came into the world to change our hearts so that our communities could
become places, where lives flourish, and the weak people are protected, weak
people flourish. And that's what we're looking to God for God is a God of
miracles. He's a good God. This is His plan. And He will do it. God bless you.
